Dougstock Music Festival began in August 2020,

a few hundred metres west of it’s current location on Willunga Hill, South Australia. The first event involved a hike to the festival site and was also inspired by Doug’s 40th birthday celebration. The acts included New York Blues Hall of Fame guitarist Chris Finnen, Velvet Moth and Eraser Description.

Given its spectacular location up in the clouds,

Dougstock is often subject to high winds and wild weather but with luck on our side, the debut festival took place on a perfect, sunny winter’s day. Shortly after, the decision was made to move the festival to summer! It now takes place on the first Friday and Saturday of December with camping available.

Independently operated and 100% South Australian,

Dougstock Music Festival takes pride in presenting great live music with a particular focus on jazz and soul. Highlights include multi-instrumentalist Adam Page, vocalist Zkye Compson-Harris, 9 piece neo-soul group King of Spain, Wanderers, SAMA award winning 5 Sided Cube and Grammy nominated saxophonist Dustan Cox.

Dougstock continues to expand each year,

now featuring a mix of market stalls, a Kid’s Zone, Chai Tent, Lounge Stage, delicious food trucks, and a licensed bar. This inclusive, family-friendly festival is brought to life by the collaborative efforts of volunteers, local businesses, artists, and environmental groups, ensuring a memorable experience for all!
