About Dougie’s Disciples

Dougie’s Disciples are a top-tier ensemble of some of South Australia’s finest jazz musicians, paying tribute to their “lord and saviour” Dougie with hard-swinging rhythms and infectious grooves. Led by bassist Ben Fuller, the band features the exceptional talents of saxophonist Chris Soole, keyboardist David Goodwin, guitarist Sam Cagney, and jazz drumming expert and cymbal smith Craig Lauritsen. At Dougstock, they’ll take the audience on a soulful journey toward musical enlightenment, honouring the festival’s creator through their captivating sound.
